Doug ShanahanA New York Native, Doug played and received honors in both football and lacrosse at Hofstra University. His senior year, he was named the Player of the year for the NCAA, America East and he was the inaugural winner of the Tewaaraton Trophy, which is presented yearly to the nation’s top college player. Doug has also played for Team USA in several World Games earning a selection to the All-World Team and Tournament MVP. Currently plays for the Chicago Machine in the MLL and coaches high school football and lacrosse in Florida.

Hunter Lochte Hunter is a veteran to both the MLL and NLL having played for the Denver Outlaws, San Fransisco Dragons, Washington Bayhawks and the NY Titans. Hunter played his college ball at Towson University and is on the staff at Trilogy Lacrosse. A teacher by trade, Hunter is now on the coaching staff at Baltimore’s MIAA powerhouse Gilman Prep.

Kyle HartzellKyle plays for the San Francisco Dragons (MLL) and San Jose Stealth (NLL). He finished his rookie MLL season (2008) third on the team in groundballs. Kyle had a standout career at Salisbury State University where he was a third-team All-American and first-team All-League selection and was the team’s Most Valuable Defenseman as a senior. Won two NCAA Division III National Championships at Salisbury.

Ben WahlerBen is currently a member of the Denver University lacrosse team. On the field, Ben is a midfielder and faceoff specialist for the Pioneers. In the classroom, he is majoring in marketing and expects big things out of the DU team this season.

His career at Salisbury has been nothing but exceptional having earned Player of the Year honors in 2008 and Midfielder of the year in 2007. John WeaverJohn has been the editor and publisher of E-Lacrosse for 12 years, covering all levels of lacrosse all over the world. He grew up in Cockeysville. He was also the founding coach at Georgetown Prep in Bethesda and Georgetown Day School in Washington, D.C., while still in college. John is also a blogger for the Baltimore Sun.
Glen DossGlen is a member of the E-Lacrosse staff. He played his college ball at Salisbury from 1996-1999, winning a national championship his senior year. Glen has played for and managed various club teams in the American Lacrosse League, and has also been a regular in the Baltimore Indoor Lacrosse League.
Mark BreierMark is a member of the E-Lacrosse staff. He played his 4 years of college ball at Salisbury “State” University and was part of the 1999 D3 National Championship team with the Gulls. He played in the D3 Senior North/South game and was a 3x All-American defenseman during his tenure at Salisbury.
