The Tenth Annual Men’s Florida Lacrosse Classic consists of 37 teams from across the US with more than 100 games being played over the three-day event. Twenty-one teams, including the FROGS (Florida Real Old Guys), the South Florida host team, will battle for the crown of National Champion in the Men’s Grand Master Division (age 45+) and 14 teams will compete to win the National Championship Men’s Half Century Division (age 50+). The tournament also will host its fourth annual Past Masters Game for the “older, more mature” lacrosse player, a “just for fun game” for players who will be 60 years young by the end of 2011.
Most importantly, the public can attend for FREE- now that is news in South Florida!
The Florida Youth Lacrosse Foundation Inc., sponsor of the event, has contributed more than $145,600 in funds and equipment to more than 80 eligible youth lacrosse programs.
