DU men’s lacrosse will play against professional lacrosse players at Peter Barton Lacrosse Stadium on Saturday, Oct. 23
DENVER - The University of Denver men’s lacrosse team will play some of the top professional lacrosse players on Saturday, Oct. 23 at 1:30 p.m. at Peter Barton Lacrosse Stadium. Prior to the start of the game, the Pioneers will host their annual alumni vs. alumni game.
“Last year’s game against the Denver Outlaws of Major League Lacrosse was the kick-off for a fantastic 2010 season for the Denver Pioneers,” said head coach Bill Tierney. “This year’s contest against the pro players, should prove to be just as exciting. There is no more beautiful venue in collegiate lacrosse than our own Peter Barton Stadium and I know that our many talented freshmen, as well as our returning veterans look forward to their first game together.”
Tickets are $5 if purchased in advance and $7 if purchased the day-of at the DU Box Office. They can be purchased through www.TicketMaster.com or at the DU Box Office, located in the Daniel L. Ritchie Center on the DU campus. Admission for DU students is free with a valid Pioneer Card.
